Something to clear up after that last post. I am not a Believer. I used to be, then I was an athiest, now I am just an agnostic learning to follow the teachings of the Buddha. I choose not to debate with myself whether or not there is a Big Man Upstairs. Instead, I am trying to focus on being a complete and wholly spiritual person for this lifetime. And really, with that whole reincarnation thing, if I don't get it right this time, I still have another shot. Unless I am kicked down to the lower level of animals. Then I'll probably come back as a moose and get hit by a semi.
Can you believe I actually said, "complete and wholly spiritual person?" Wow. Even I'm amazed at the hippy-dippy sound of that.
Anyways, I got sidetracked. What I was going to say was that even though I am not a Believer, I respect that other people are. The joke I made about the Christ of Jesus dryer brand was just that. A joke. I make a lot of them, most of which I find hilarious. Well, ok, all of them.

Kids are precious, aren't they?
Yesterday, Sunday, my son, The Hurricane, came out of the bathroom and said, "Mom, the Christ of Jesus dryer stopped working." My sister (who is visiting) and I were killing ourselves laughing. It was so funny coming out of the mouth of a 4 year old. Yes, inappropriate laughter. Don't have a clue where he picked that up, as neither my husband nor I use the JC words like that. Can't WAIT till that pops out in daycare. I'm going to go ahead and blame my sister. More inappropriate laughter when I said, "If there really was a brand of dryer called Christ of Jesus, you'd think it would be more reliable."
My therapist said I should start a journal.
Well, aren't I the one? Figured out this whole blogging thing all by myself. Don't be shy with the golf clap. So much to say. So really, I did have a therapist, but only for a short time. My mother passed away (the "Big C") last year and I needed to have some grief counselling. She (the therapist) recommended I start journalling. Of course, like 99.9% of the world, I pshaw'd quality advice and didn't do anything about it until now. Of course, I have to give most of the credit to MckMama (and if I ever find out how to link to her page, I will). Her blog is just her life, day to day. The last week or so for her and her family has been rough (World's Biggest Understatement) and my heart goes out to the MckFamily. Anyways, I thought to myself, 'Self, what a great way to remember your life at this time. Write things down on the internet for total strangers to read.' So here I am.
Facts about me:
Facts about me:
- Mostly happily married

Stellar qualities:
- Brutally honest
- Fairly tactless
- Inappropriate laugher
- Ability to make a complete jackass of myself with no prior rehearsing needed

There are tons more qualities, too numerous to list.
